Love this book so far! It’s like being transported to the llano (prairie) in Venezuela, with the horses, cattle, and the hunt for the one-eyed alligator. Dona Barbara is such an interesting and tragic character! What’s going to happen between her & Santos Luzardo?! I can see why this book was made into a telenovela. Great material!
