this is kind of what it’s like to have a cat tbh

it’s been a while since I’ve hated the man in a husband/wife narration duo of a domestic thriller this much….close enough, welcome back nick dunne!

started to listen to this on audiobook in the car but was surprised from how different it seemed from the description/reviews. went to log on goodreads once out of the car and realized there are two books with the same name and I meant to read the other one

the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results, and yet that’s what I do every time I read a tessa bailey book and hope to like it

expected to totally love this and somehow it’s actually just put me in a reading slump. fingers crossed i have a change of heart

so I sort of like but definitely don’t love this and I’m wondering if there’s something wrong with my reading taste (jk but seriously everyone whose taste i respect LOVES this)
