I don’t think I really like the whole moving backwards format

It’s interesting to read the story backwards, not quite sure how I feel about this method yet

After not reading for awhile, it was difficult to remember names and who did what, but it became easier; however I’d have a difficult time telling you each individual character and their corresponding POV

I’m very, very intrigued; especially when it comes to how she’ll write the antis, considering where she likely stands. However, it also seems like a lot of different stories to keep track of, so we’ll see how that goes.

I cannot fathom a mother being willing to give up her child

There’s only so much left; so Sarah either gets caught or actually gets away, but she’s already made a lot of mistakes...

I understand why Sarah did it, but I think it’s naive and illogical to assume that she can make it last long term

I feel no recourse for Amy; what kind of mother tells her child she doesn’t love her??

Amy wasn’t ready to be a mom

Told from both Sarah and Amy’s perspectives; Amy‘s perspective is in third person, while Sarah‘s perspective is in first person; perhaps because Sarah is looking in at Amy‘s life and the author wants to portray this looking in feeling?

The very first chapter lays out the book’s organization with before/during/etc
Very vivid imagery, but it’s not overbearing

Good, but not as good, just kinda eh

They broke up WHY

It’s really cute and Peter’s like a modern day knight; also like the seamless transition from the last book

Not sure why the first 2 chapters were placed in the beginning; none of those characters have reappeared yet

Dominika is a much more interesting person; not sure if I actually like her, but she’s more fun to read about

Maybe it’s because I don’t really read these books, but I’m having a hard time getting pulled in; also, what’s up with the recipes at the end of the 2 chapters I’ve read so far?

I’m intrigued, but at the same time it was a slow first chapter

Details were sometimes rushed over; + fairytale ending; small plot twist at end with car crash; overall difficult to fall in love with the characters

It’s almost too cheesy, and Ambrose admitting his feelings was way too short and a bit lackluster

Lou just brushed off Jilly’s feelings for Michael even though she literally fell in love in less than a day, and obviously Ethan dying in a school shooting is very serious, but again, they’ve seen each other in person less than 24 hours

Still cheesy; romance between Lou and Ethan seems waaaay too good to be true, even if this is fiction

Whoever wins the challenge is going to pick the opponent for their significant other; if this happens, the book is considerably predictable
