Stage 101

Stage 70. This book is really a collection of random facts about Galaga, the writer of the book, and his experiences with the game. It does generate a certain nostalgia in me for the simple times of the old quarter arcades when I could go up to a Galaga or Ms. Pac-Man machine and play a few levels for a quarter or two.

On Stage 54. Which is much further than I've ever reached during an actual game of Galaga.

Spotted an error on pg 38. Author says "Matamoros lies considerably to the west of Corpus Christi, so Taylor's route was eased by his marching a good bit of the distance up the Nueces River." Incorrect. Matamoros is due south of Corpus Christi, and the Nueces flows from the northwest before entering Nueces and Corpus Christi Bays, so Taylor would not have followed the Nueces to join his troops near Matamoros.
