This part - the waiting and wondering - is uncomfortable

I find it interesting when in the story she decides to tell us certain things

Such an uplifting and clean topic

I feel like I could be a better person

That was horrible.

I feel like it doesn’t have a point. But that isn’t a bad thing.

I wish I could describe how this feels for you. To say “a soap opera” is too dramatic. To say “the story of a woman who joined a monastery” is too simple. It’s not a romance, but it is a love story. And it fits so much inside it.

I am bewitched.

We started out slow. (And I am truly a horrid horrid lapsed catholic). And now we are kicking ass.

This is an interesting development. I don’t know where this book is going - but I find that is part of the charm.

It’s all the catholic detail that becomes a jumble

This one’s making me anxious

I generally feel pretty lost reading one of these. And I love that.

I love the unfolding. The ups. And downs. I get so emotionally invested in these books.

This one is tough

I am, at this moment, incandescently happy

This is...a lot.

I’m reading in slo-mo so this never ends. I am blown-away by the intricacy and the feelings and this characters. This is headed for the Best of 2019 shelf.
