So far... this feels so much less fantasy and more just a retelling of BLM and musing to the audience about modern social issues. I want the point to be at least slightly veiled, but you're sort of slapped in the face with it. ALSO, where is my poly romance!?? it better be coming!!

Second time around and its just as fun as last time. So excited to finish this so i can start book 2

in a surprising win for women, the MC Angela does all the man splaining about history and the ancient world. does she have to get saved by her cop ex-husband once? yes. did she also save her cop ex-husband too? also yes!

...chapter 24 could have replaced the last three chapters and we would have lost nothing of the plot. why is this so repetitive?

There's...jesus? I'm not that surprised but dang like literally it's jesus. im sort of disappointed this is how the lore is going, i was hoping for something more.
