Current thoughts:
-Odysseus has witnessed so much death, the strength of his spirit is amazing
-I understand him wanting to return to his wife and home, I actually admire him greatly for that, but I still feel bad for Kalypso. She loved him so
-Can gods get any more petty, honestly-

Current thoughts:
-Just started the Odyssey chapter of the book, already feeling bad for poor Odysseus

Current thoughts:
-That spread with Fujisaki and all the ayakashi behind him was INTENSE and BEAUTIFUL
-Shipping Yato and Hiyori even harder now
-I sense things are about to turn for the worse very soon, but this chapter had some great comedy in it

Current thoughts:
-Evidently, Hephaistos will make divine armor for any demigod, regardless of what side of a war they’re on
-Andromache’s fate was honestly so dreadful that it’s amazing she’s not one of the many who kill themselves out of grief
-*Aladdin voice* All of this for one woman?
-Thank you, Athene, for slaughtering Lesser Ajax
-Still mourning Patroklos

Current thoughts:
-I absolutely need to read the Iliad now. Just the quotes from it make my heart shake
-Hektor is a far more understandable character than I expected
-Menelaos was the real MVP while Achilles was away
-The horses cried for Patroklos and I very nearly did too. That poor man loved his friend and his people so much, he just wanted to do them proud

Current thoughts:
-Achilles was a great warrior, but /man/ was he violent.
-First nine years of the war have been covered! The final battle looms ahead

Current thoughts:
-We're starting the Trojan war stories!
-Tros's son so hot Zeus had to have him, naturally.
-I'm loving all these godly horses that keep coming up. They all sound so incredible

Current thoughts:
-Teiresias had some interesting stories surrounding his prophetic nature
-Kreon got what was coming for him, honestly
-Yet more stories of how greed kills

Current thoughts:
-Oedipus' story is even more crazy than I thought it would be
-Antigone is FIERCE. KEEP YOUR HONOR GIRL, FIGHT THE POWER

Current thoughts:
-Theseus was a Hercules fanboy, who knew!
-Theseus and Peirithoos must have been soulmates, honestly
-Daidalus broke my heart more than I thought he could
-So many of these great gods and kings were really giant assholes (in this case specifically: Minos and Zeus)
