Curious to see how this one goes

Started on the 30/1/2025 - very interesting

Forgot to update my current reads (oops). I started reading this on the 27th and I'm almost finished. This novel isn't bad but I am unsure how it will wrap up because there's a lot going on.

It's so weird to read a book set in the COVID 19 pandemic! but I am really enjoying the elements it adds to the story and the extra pressure it places on characters

The atmosphere is spooky and seems to be the perfect setting for a horror book. The concept itself is a little bit slow so far.

Started reading last night. Very spooky with lots of cult vibes.

Not sure how I feel about this one. Some of the stories are absolutely fantastic and creepy while the others are a bit slow.

This book is a masterpiece.
The representation for neurodiversity, religious trauma and LGBTQIA+ characters is truly a breath of fresh air. I'll probably finish this tonight!

It's getting a little confusing - still great though

I've read a lot of books that centre around grief. But this one, by far, is the best. The whale acting as a symbol of the main characters grief can only be described as beautiful and haunting. I am absolutely in love with this book.

This book is deeply moving and emotional so far. An awesome read

Started this book last night.
I was actually sad I had to put it down and go to bed. There was an immediate tension as soon as I started reading and I found myself hanging on every word.

The characters were diverse and there was about 4 different stories happening at once- still, it all worked. Everything, so far, was well balanced.

This one reminds me a lot of Stephen Kings IT- but better. This book genuinely has me on the edge of my seat!

The imagery is so creepy and very descriptive. So far so good
