This was my second or third time reading this book, but first time as an adult. So glad I reread the first book in the chronicles... things make more sense now. I cannot wait to read book number 2!

This was the first Michael Crichton book I have read and I enjoyed it. It was a fun read with lots of action, adventure, and fascinating characters.

One negative about the book was that it uses a lot of nautical terms... so keep a dictionary close by!
