The book began with a lot of skipping around, setting the scenes and introducing the various characters, and it is gradually coming together in one of Sanderson's amazingly well planned stories. There's still over two thirds of the book to read and I stupidly think I can see the direction in which he's going. Anyone who's read the Mistborn books knows that I'll still be subjected to many Sanderson twists of plot.
