if you ever plan on reading this book, i would recommend reading it alongside something else. the scottish dialogue (doesn't take long to get used to) although it still doesn't make it any less trudging after long periods of reading. the book blows the movie out of the water. while some key parts from both are identifiable, there's a lot left out from the movie to the book.
