Let's be clear. I am not really a horror fan. Yet, last year I decided that I would read or listen to a Halloween-ish book for the month of October. That experience was so good, I decided I might make it a personal tradition. So this year, I picked my first ever Stephen King novel, and I am really glad I picked this book for this year. I am loving it! That isn't something I ever expected to say about a horror novel.

I am enjoying this more than I had expected to as an audio experience.

I am enjoying it for the most part so far. I like that we've already introduced a fair number of characters who are all very unique and feel so real even if they haven't had much time to shine yet.
