While I am enjoying this story, slow burns usually aren't my thing and Brooke is really dumb in the beginning. A character can be Sunshine without being dumb.

I never thought I'd say this cause I do love a (good) Hades & Persephone retelling but I'm enjoying this more than Neon Gods. Something that bothers me though is the description of Psyche as a plus sized person but that's really more of an issue with the book world and not just this book. Big boobs and big ass and can't buy clothes - that's what we get?
