I'm about halfway done. Need to stop at 1966 since the book is due at the library. I'm finding this very interesting to hear about the '60s and people's prerogatives from New York City and the Factory. I find Andy Warhol a fascinating individual. Looking forward to reading the rest of this in the near future.

Only 11% done so far. This has so many puzzle pieces. There are so many different storylines to keep straight. I'll keep trying. See how this goes.

Well, just like in Toastmasters, you tell your audience what you're going to tell them, tell them, then you tell them what you told them.

I was over an hour and 10 minutes into this 7 hour audiobook before they gave a piece of advice.
Put your money in the market and stay put. Use index funds.

I'm hoping chapter 3 gives some advice.

I am really enjoying this book. I can almost hear Colin Jost's voice as I'm reading.
I really enjoyed the chapter about his mom and what a heroic and fantastic person she is.

Dawn is on page 44 of 368 of Women and Leadership: Real Lives, Real Lessons
The first two chapters were very heavy with data. Lots of statistics about how very few women are in political leadership positions. I think 6% was mentioned.

I don't know if it's just me or others feel the same way about the editing. The authors refer to these political leaders by their first names rather than last names I find that very casual.

Some interesting ideas about leadership. But currently reading three other books and this was returned. I may pick it up again someday. I found the chapter about vulnerability in the military of very interesting piece.

Great tips - I already do some of them. Looking into allocating funds differently. Paying off CC aggressively. Going to live the rich and wonderful life - and the money life too. :)

I gave up after 130 pages. He's mentally ill, peop2make fun of him, he gets in fights and is worse off. Life is too short and good to deal with this 400 year old heartache.

Dawn is reading Such a Fun Age
This novel drew me in quickly. It was featured in Bookpages Magazine. I was motivated to read once I learned Nerdette Podcast is doing an episode at the end of January. I was up half the night reading and didn't want to put it down.. The characters were multidimensional, yet easy to understand.

Fantastic book. I love all the stories of how creative people create. Lots of brain research gives credibility to the book. Great for long rides. I've even had some driveway moments (you get home in the driveway, but you have to keep listening to the story).
