Eeeeks!! Intense! Can see where being a Strigoi with him, but that's just it...it's not the Dimirti she fell in love...looks/acts at times, but this is a coldness he wants her, but love has never been mentioned since his turning! Sad & heartbreaking, but staying with this Dimirti is not a good option & glad she is getting her old kick butt mentality back!!!!

At this point in the series the need to recap what everything means & happens is annoying! We know what Dhampirs & Moroi & Strigoi mean/represent! Still love the series & excited to read this novel despite the redundancy so far!

Ahhhh!!!!!!! Had to stay wake to finish!!!!!!! OMG Dimitri!!!!!! Roza will find you & somehow/somewhere turn you back to a dhampirs instead of an evil Strigoi!! True love will triumph!!!!!!!

Sadly it is not as captivating as her previous novels I have read! Love the detail, but it overshadows the characters & storyline at tines I feel like skimming over sections instead of taking all this great, but lots if detail in as should by the queen of this era!!!

Wealth of details & amazing research of the era! No wonder she is the Queen of regency writing!!!!
