Nat is starting The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell
This was a pretty good book. Accepting yourself the way God made you and learning that you are worthy, despite those outward appearances that we feel make us different. We have all been picked on for one reason or another, but you have to endure. I do wish the author had researched rehab a little bit more. It is not only physical therapy, but both speech and occupational therapy are important in recovery.

I had already read a subsequent book about Blue and Regina some years back, so it was good to read about where and how it all started. Good read

I would have liked an epilogue, but it was still a good book. I think they could have made a 3rd book to tell the readers how Maxwell turned out. Has he been reformed? Or is it only an “in the moment “ change? Pastor Harris was truly covered and despite his own personal feelings, he allowed the Lord to lead and guide his footsteps!

This was a mediocre read. A little slow, but I finished it. There were a lot of issues that people tended to ignore whether than address, which attributed to most of the character’s downfalls. Penny should have been getting psychiatric help all along and not just sporadically.

Good read. Unfortunately, I didn’t know this was the first book of the series and had already read the second one. But it was still good to read the original, As to understand some of the references that were made about book 1 in book 2. On to book 3 now.

Good, hopeful read! I did like how all of the stories interconnected. Shows that life is not going to be all ups, but it is our faith and hope that pushes us on during the downs!

Mediocre read. I felt that the conversations between Rachel and Sam were redundant and quite frankly, exhausting! I finished it because I don’t like to quit in the middle. I did skim over some parts though. I don’t think I can stomach the sequels.
