It's a little surreal listening to Russian names when everyone is narrated with various British accents XD

Absolutely no idea what "elongated her expression" means. I'm just picturing Plastic Man stretching his face out.

I was thinking I had read this before online but it's not familiar so apparently I'm thinking of some OTHER brightly colored Greek myth retelling and now I'm going to be trying to figure that out...

Nice of the aliens to speak English to each other so the humans who aren't supposed to be there can understand

You know that thing where you have to use a character to relay something that happened off screen or in the past, but instead of having them talk like a person you have them talk like written prose?
No reason.

It's not my identity so I hesitate to cast judgment but considering Callie was IMMEDIATELY into Elena before they even woke her up it really doesn't feel like that aligns with a character being described as demisexual. Just saying.
(Also I'm on audio and am just now learning the computer is "Shall" and not "Shao" like I thought I heard)

I know this was supposed to be a big reveal but since I already guessed it (more or less) it's just a weird place to suddenly detour and the pacing stone dead

I dunno, I'm sure there's Future Etiquette about what you say about someone else's augments/upgrades/modifications but I feel like if someone's appearance is going to be startling to your new crew member from the ancient past, and that someone is sensitive about how people react to them, you should maybe actually explain what the new person should expect instead of just "hey be cool".

Look I generally try not to apply my own genre savvy in judgment of characters and their understanding of a situation but your "totally logical and practical" explanation of what's going on is so blatantly not the case and doesn't align with *other things you've already heard/seen*.
