So far I've been reading Vance in the Integral Edition editions, but with this book I must change my ways. I understand that Vance didn't care for the title Cugel's Saga, and to be sure it is a generic title, but to my ears the VIE replacement title (Cugel: The Skybreak Spatterlight) is ugly and absolutely fails to roll through the imagination (or off the tongue) the way Vance's prose tends to.
