such a lighthearted read considering it's about a woman who keeps murdering people. very short chapters as well which makes it easily digestible for someone like me who finds long chapters intimidating

AHHHHH is all i have to say after reading the last paragraph of chapter 45. this book is too good at making me want to root for joe and beck sometimes, quickly followed by something absolutely batshit insane happens and i remember actually joe is an evil guy who deserves nothing

took a break from reading, went back to reading You because it's the easiest read i have so far (simply because i watched the show), and holy crap it hooked me in all over again. such a goooddddddd book

sometimes, just sometimes, i find myself agreeing with joe ("if people could handle their self-loathing, customer service would be smoother"), or i find myself feeling bad for joe (all the times beck blows joe, her now boyfriend, off to hang out with peach. it never lasts though because as soon as i agree with or feel bad for joe, he says something incredibly misogynistic or perverted

Only started reading this last night and I'm already hooked. Having watched the Netflix show I thought that was as bad as it gets and the book wouldn't be much worse, but reading Joe's thoughts rather than hearing them makes it so much worse in a way I can't describe

took a few days from reading to focus on uni again and i forgot how intense this book can get. also well and truly fuck ben. i can't believe i felt bad for him during my last read

I will NOT feel bad for Ben, but reading his interaction with Libby in prison:((
