Thoroughly enjoying this handy book as my companion to a whole-house project that will take me a year. It reminds me to take pieces at a time (the cabinet, the drawer) and not tackle the entire room at once. It has grids for reorganizing a room (very helpful when I face my craft room. I’ve lifted many ideas from their shows.

I opened the book. After reading page 1, I realize it’s one of those books that I am going to LOVE, and I want to savor every page. SO I CLOSED IT, and I’m contemplating how I want to approach it. Sit down and ignore life and go through it in one sitting? Allow myself only one chapter, one page, or one paragraph per day? I can tell this book was written for ME. I’m excited.

Sylvia Langford is 70% done with The Last Tudor (The Plantagenet and Tudor Novels, #15)
I can’t finish the book. It’s just cruelty after cruelty by a monarch who was historically beloved.

I used this book to get ideas on how to make my mom comfortable in conversations. She was definitely beginning to have memory problems.
