Very weird, original setting, but it's only revealed in bits and pieces that you have to put together yourself.

I've heard a lot of things about this book, but I didn't expect it would be this well-written.

It's actually a funny book, the way he writes it. Except sometimes I have to look up what he's talking about.

The incessant repetitive of "Oz the Gweat and Tewwible" ceased to be wry and ironic 10 times ago, and became pathological. The repetition of "Hey-ho let's go" was almost as bad.

I was right to skip the introduction until after reading the book. These things should be at the END of the book, not only so that you'll know what he's talking about, but so he doesn't spoil a bunch of scenes and character deaths!
