This book is TERRIBLE. It was slightly entertaining for about the first 40% and then it just went stupid. Maybe it is going to finish with a bang and I will come back with a positive update. 😬

This book is so bad, but I am too far in to DNF.

This is a really good book. It's a slow burn, but very good.

Oh my goodness, this book ❤️. If you have never read Fredrik Backman, stop what you are doing and go pick this book up or the Beartown trilogy. This author is a gem. The way he writes just touches your soul.

I don't like this book but I'm going to tough it out.

Can it be over already? This book is soooo overwritten. The storyline had/has potential, but overexplaining every little thing is making me hate it and the characters. If I ever finish, it will likely be my only Karin Slaughter novel. We will see if that changes by the time I get to the end.

Am I in 8th grade again???? I thought this was a book for adults. This book is no different than her books I read in the 80's, when I was 13.

How does this book have 3.86 stars? I'm hoping it gets more adultish soon because currently, I feel like I'm back in 8th grade reading a Judy Blume book.

This book, wow. I'm not to the halfway point and it is likely the best book I've read all year. The author writes brilliantly. It is like I can feel what she is writing.
