Finished Book 5: Tales from Earthsea. I really don't agree with the critics that claim that the Earthsea books got worse, I found this book just as good as the first one. Of the shorts "On the High Marsh" is my favourite. It is beautifully written, feature nuanced characters, a neat cameo and the theme resemble the earlier books.

Finished book 4, Tehanu. Continuing the streak of great Earthsea books. However the ending and the events leading up to it did not get enough time (also, touching on Dragon Ex Machina).

Finished book 3, The Farthest Shore. A great read, just like the two previous book. It's interesting to compare the antagonists of the three books. While the antagonists in both the first and second book are quite abstract the third book feature a somewhat generic necromancer bringing about events that mirror parts of the 60s that Le Guin disliked. It feels like a step backwards.

Finished book 2, The Tombs of Atuan. Damn, Ged is culturally insensitive. Just like the first book I really enjoyed this one.
