on page 40 he author writes "I realized I had to prove myself all over again. just because i got through green team didn't mean shit. all the other guys in the room completed the same course. i made a promise to myself that i would be an asset to my team" i read this as saying no matter where you are in life the people next to you have been through the same trials you have. so you have to keep proving yourself
