So while she is furious with him and fighting with him, her son calls her out for an affair with his coach that his dad didn't know about to defend his father and fact that the mom wasn't truthful either. Seriously??!! I feel like the book just took the power away from the woman in the story to make the man look better, almost justified even. I am in no way a feminist, but seriously? Not cool.

Spoiler alert. I am so disappointed in the turn this book just took. The mom (who happens to be a Judge) just found out that her son unintentionally killed someone when driving with his Dad who then covered it up for him. The mom has EVERY right to be enraged and horrified at her husband.

I won't be finishing this one. The subject matter so far is too dark and incomfortable. Maybe there is a light at the end of the story, but I'm not willing to read through this to get there. This book isn't for me.

I reeeaaaalllly like this book and can't wait for the movie to come out next year. My only complaint is that the detailed scientific info and mathematical stuff makes me tune out a bit. Still love it though.
