Piper uses Luke 17:37 as Jesus's answer to the disciples about the location of his judgment. Looking at verse 23 of the same chapter, Christ has already instructed them not to pursue false Christs at specific locations. When this is read in harmony with Matthew 24:26-28, it is clear that the statement about the eagles and the corpse is about those who are deceived by false Christs gathering around a dead body. p. 96.

Chapter 7 title hits different. Piper refers to Christ as having a "Bad Reputation." While I recognize that he clarifies the slander that Christ suffered and brings God's purpose out of it, it doesn't sit well to allow Christ's reputation to be called "Bad." Matthew 21:46 shows that opinions of Christ's reputation during his time were mixed. Further use of the extreme term "Desecration" in this title was unnecessary.
