I know I read this one about 20 or 25 years ago and at that time I wasn’t over the hill about it (3 star review). But now that I have re-read everything up to this point and delved deeper into his life, I am enjoying this much better on the second reading. NOTE: I am reading the restored edition, so things his last wife Mary thought were “embarrassing” have been restored. It’s a much more honest text.

Back on the Hemingway Project. I have now completed all of the books he published while he was alive. I am now moving onto the posthumous books.
