One thing that immediately drew me in to this book was the description of a realisation some of us go through, that being the lacklustre actuality of life. We find out we're completely off the mark about a lot of things. I see part of me in this.
Disappointing to find the familiar dullness in this book as well. This work starts to sound like a "product of its time" with every page. Inexcusable misogyny. Drew me out.
