You know the problem with this book? The conflict and consequences felt very removed from the action of the story. Why wasn't the main character (whose name escapes me already) more conflicted about her feelings for Isabella? Honestly, everything that happened was just so convenient in the end.

I'm making all sorts of interesting reading choices today.

Okay, so Jinx has this problem that a lot of girls have where she doesn't like to come across as rude when somebody across as rude so she does nothing when someone threatens her. That's not charming, it's terrifying and dangerous. When your former stalker shows up, making a scene ought to be your last and trailing concern. Grrrrrrrl...

I would have liked it if Jinx found a friend before she gained a love interest, but I may just be a little picky.

I think I may have read ebook editions of all the stories collected in this book. *shrug*

This book is in a permanent state of being read because I doubt I'll ever finish, but it's never really very far from my thoughts either.

There's a point I reach on some books where i have to figure out if the parts that aren't working are something only I can see. That's when I hit up GR to check and see if they improve. I tried, but Allison is just so inane.

Some things can't even be enjoyed in parodied form. I just...my expectations were maybe absurdly high. There were funny bits and absurd bits and they were not interchangeable.

Even the parody is a little hard to take. I think I'm beginning to appreciate the original more. How awful.
