Hard-hitting and compelling read. The author narrates on this Audiobook.

What a terrifically inspiring mom! Emily Colson fought against impossible odds, alone, with her severely autistic son - and Love, believe it or not, won! Fantastic Audible book narrated by Emily and her famous father, Charles. Wonderful book!

John Donne is right. It’s so true, that when you utterly reach the end of your rope, you then feel love for the first time. Not the kind of love that so many well-intentioned people have to offer. A real love. So intense that we cannot help but share in it, feeling Someone cares that much. Donne saw now that The One who really loved him could in fact SHARE that caring with him. Haven’t looked at this beautiful book since the 1960’s, when I had a Doubleday Anchor edition of it. Remember those? A little pocketbook with a print size so small, I couldn’t even pretend to be able to read it now!
