I’m kind of a slow reader as it is, but man, it’s taking me a while to get through The Disaster Artist—not because it’s difficult or anything, it’s just so damn funny I have to stop reading and try not to burst out laughing. It’s a fantastic read, so far.

I stopped reading Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead because it was a tortuous reading experience. It was like reading the 60s hipster version of a two hour Monty Python sketch. In essence, it basically felt like it was smarter than its audience and it comes off as annoyingly smug in the process.

I'm going to put my English coursework to good use and read a pro wrestler's biography instead.

Reading this, I'm getting the same feelings I had when I read Waiting for Godot for a second time. I chose this book based on LibraryThing's recommendation system and my taste in existentialism has dissipated. The play feels like Godot as done by Monty Python, only much drier than any of their most intellectual sketches.

I don’t dislike this book as much as I did before, but I still feel like I’m trudging along as I read it. The getting to the last few pages just feels like a chore.

Currently inching my way through this book for a heavily weighted assignment in the last week of my extended semester. The book, while thought-provoking, is exasperatingly dull in its first world worries about the decline of neighborly relations. It is especially laughable when considering the upper-middle-class status of the individuals profiled here. I'm a broke college student with two jobs, for God's sake.
