Please keep me in your prayers as I begin to prepare to preach through the book of Ruth for the congregation at Anchorage Cross and Anchor Church.

I’m gonna have to push pause on completing this book 📕 as good as it is and as much as I’m enjoying it, duty calls.

It’s very helpful in bringing clarity to Dr. Waltons position. Something that’s missing (in a sense), due to the brevity of singular (type) lectures.

I’m 5 chapters in and I’m excited to finally be reading his material. I’ve watched hours of his content, but there’s nothing better than reading the material in its fullness.

It’s been a while, but I’m back. I’m getting ready to update my reading list for the year. Which will include most, but not all that I’ve read. We just closed out our series on Galatians, and I’m planning on adding all of the books that were read during my sermon prep for Sunday’s.

I’ve been lazy for far too long! It’s time to get back on the proverbial reading horse.

It’s an easy read.

So far it’s a great read. Helpful topics that are broken down in an easy to digest manner. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The epistles!

Another worthwhile run through alongside of some friend.

Almost there, and yet feeling like another read through would be beneficial. Lots of vital material covered.

I’m definitely enjoying the historical perspective on the background of the text more than the pastoral commentary that preceded it. However, both are vitally important.
