I forgot I read this in third grade, let alone that it existed until I saw someone donated the DVD of it to my place of work. Found it as a freebie on Kindle and had a slow work day. Memories came flooding back.

Still as fun as I remember.

Present tense narration continues to be the bane of my existence as a reader. Just not a device I’m into. Love

Not loving the use of present tense but I do love the focus on Neferura and her mother.

This murder mystery is dragging a bit, but I gotta know who did it. I've come too far now.

Okay Bryce is annoying but not too stupid to live. This is a vast improvement over Feyre and Celena.

Characterization of Bryce so far is actually not bad. May I have found an SJM heroine I don't hate?
