The thing about Joseph Boyden is that he writes his characters very well. They become very real to me and it helps me realize that everyone has a story, and that we should try to hear it before judging.

There is something to be said about reading a book which the author has signed for you. It becomes a more personal experience, you feel like you have more of a connection to the book. I wish I could meet all of my favourite authors, and have them sign their treasures.

Too many people, too few things.
