All I'm wondering is, on what substances was this man on when he wrote this? It's still inyeresting enough to keep on reading, but for fox sake, sentences as long as half a page? Come on, who are you trying to impress?

Up to this point I'm not seeing what other readers see in this book. The story has been done a million times already. But, I will keep trying to finish it.

So far, boring and one-sighted. There are so many more angles to what he has studied. This book is only basics.

This is a classic. That's what they say, right? I agree, in the sense that it has been around for a couple if centuries. In truth, I despise the character for his behaviour towards nature and life. I admire his inventfullness. But then again I despise the fact that he has been given a unique chance to better himself and actually learns nothing from all those decennia on the island. The ending is a major anti-climax.

For some reason I can't stick with this book. Every once in a while I will read some chapters and who knows, I may finish it one day...

Maybe one day I'll finish this... but not for another few years..

This probably works better as a movie or series.... I can't keep my focus. It's boring..
