This book is so charming. Some moderate unexpected turns, but also so much satisfying exposition confirming expected good things.

Lots of fun so far. The characters are quirky and the setting is interesting, a sort of timeless "modern day". The main characters show awareness and consideration for social issues, and this appeals to the part of me that wants justice and peace for everyone. I identify with the protagonist and his journey of discovery from his principles to actions.

So far, it's great. It's written sensitively and without lecturing. The author presents perspectives without requiring whole-cloth acceptance of a viewpoint. The author really seems to be meeting me where I am.

Finished Seven Arrows. Really enjoyed it.
