#AbandonedAsylums by #MattVanderVelde is a remarkable read, offering more to the reader than the “ruin porn” that some people see these places for. He honours the hundreds of thousands of patients who lived (and many died) within these buildings. The final chapter with the asylum graveyards was very moving.
