MacKenzie’s chapter on the representation of imperialism in school textbooks is excellent, very much akin to Howard Zinn’s and James Loewen’s critiques of the presentation of U.S. history in American textbooks.

This one is proving a slower read.

Morris is attempting to write this in the style of Douglas Adams, which is understandable given that Adams was a script editor for the show during the period in which the novel is set. He's not bad at it, either.

I’m really enjoying Jenkins’s insights into Parliamentary operations during this era.
