I can see why Bonnie and Twill were left out of the movie as they only lasted one chapter. It was nice getting a bit more insight on the life of District 8 but the chapter was merely a filler for the story

Im in a part of the book with more characters that were never in the movies. Their story arc is very interesting but it was understandable that they had left them out as they would have spoiled district 13

Im so excited to get the quell part. I had just finished reading the first act, all the extra characters that weren’t in the movie have been very interesting so far, i’m curious what their fate will be

Wow this book is a lot like the movie. I can hear the actors’ voice in my head speaking the lines as I read them word for word. The movie for this series is my favorite and I can tell that I might feel the same for this book.

I’ve actually already read this book a while ago. But i’m just rereading the series. So far i love how this book goes straight into the story and still knows how to set up the universe we’re about to delve into. Some books take too long with that but this series is really good. I could just be biased though

Gabriel is finally setting motion to his mission. It’s getting a lot more interesting now that the setting up of the story is finally done

There are some French words and names that are being used and it’s quite hard to follow the story when you’re trying to pronounce the foreign words, but nevertheless the story is so intriguing so far. Almost reminds me of a James Bond movie but with art dealers
