It somewhat follows this Victorian classism throughout what would be an "Apocalypse," there doesn't seem to be a sense of urgency, but rather they've adapted well and that this is what life is. The concern of the environment doesn't seem to be their biggest threat. I should have expected this with an older novel, but it's decent so far. 3 stars, could go to 4, I'd bet it will drop to 2.

This is dark, but I've read half the book in a day. I can't tell whether I'm addicted to it or racing to get to the light at the end of the tunnel.

So far it’s been a roller coaster of differing opinions for me. He does portray his thoughts as a black & white, pragmatic, practical view of the world but through those cracks you see his biases shine through. Interesting historical context is what’s keeping me into this, but to pass off his views as historical fact is bothersome.

Interesting concepts out how life might've been with Humans and Dinosaurs. There is definitely a lot of real scientific evidence to back up the claims.

It's good, a little more dry to get going than 'The Lost World,' definitely touches more on the biological side of Jurassic Park and all that went into it before the dinosaurs attacked!! Still can't put it down!
