Switched editions so the page numbers would be accurate but my previous thoughts remain the same.

I love how Diana is willing to address real issues within marriage in such a true and honest way.

This is one of those books, that I greatly enjoy but I can't put into words why I love it.

I can not put all of my thoughts into words. 5 out of 5 stars! Loved this book for it caused me more emotions then I thought possible. It truly broke me. I will probably write more after I have processed my emotions. I love Jamie and Clare! I love this book! I have never read a book so late into the wee hours of the morning. To wake up feeling feverish due to the adrenaline that had been rushing in my veins all night

This is one of those books where "relaxing" is in no way the word, I would use to describe the reading experience. All the emotions, Diana Gabaldon might have made a new life long fan. I have no idea how she has written so many books in this series this is both daunting and exciting.

Oh Jamie Fraser stay safe you wild buck.

It has been a long while since a book has been so good to force me to forget my need for sleep. I had a friend tell me a story of how her aunt doesn't allow this book to be read by her daughters for she declared that they would fall too madly in love with Jamie to ever be satisfied by a modern man... I think she might be on to something there.

A read for school... All degrees should require a sociology class and a class on race and ethnicity. It is such a crucial element of society that is normally over looked.
3.5 rating

3.5 stars.
It is a guilty pleasure read. Mare is beautiful and lovable but sadly the writing is rough and choppy. And many of the other characters are lacking in someway or another. But still a good book all the same, and it was truly nice to see a comfortable lesbian relationship.

Oh I applaud Elizabeth Gaskell at being able to turn something as plain as wallpaper, into an medium for her to display Thornton's true character.

"Love should feel like the first time you gallop a horse flat out. It should make your blood sing. It should terrify you."

I am coming to like this story. A little slow but Mare is a female character I can get behind!

In honor of Goodreads Romance Week, I have decided to start a classical romance that I have only previously loved from television. It should take me quite a while to finish but it is nice to be reading a classic for the first time since 2015.

I will always enjoy Veronica Roth's writing style, overall a great read. It didn't instill for me the level of love that I shared for Tobias in Divergent but still unique and intriguing characters that you can't help but root for. The parts were rushed and it left me with many questions but I suppose that is Veronica's way.

I think it will take time for me to truly digest this book. It is so full of wonder and intriguing characters. It is everything it claims to be and more. Well worth the read, I don't see myself forgetting these characters anytime soon.
