The book starts with interesting chapters from Tova’s perspective (who I suppose is the main character) and the octopus. But then there are chapters about Brad, Cameron, Elizabeth???? I don’t understand who these people are and why should I care about them. The author doesn’t seem to have put effort in making the reader care about these side characters.
