What a wonderful contemporary story! I am in love with Jase Garrett and his amazing thoughtfulness!

I was starting to think this book would duplicate Abbi Glines' Sea Breeze, but the story changed, so I'm again open minded about it!

Well, I never thought it would be such a good book, but it's actually helpful. After just two days of reading it, hubby was able to tell the difference! Amazing isn't it?

Umm, this book is just not working for me. It's boring me to death and if I'm gonna skip over it, then there is really no reason to continue with it.

Anyway, I like Bea, Joy's Dawn Syndrome cousin. She's so innocent and sweet and gets those prophetic visions. She's so special :)

I'm not entirely sure why Melanie had to kill herself.. people don't get so rash just because they cheated on their best friends with the b/f's boyfriend.. it's silly. If every cheater killed themselves over what they'd done, the earth will be quite underpopulated right now.

I have no clue (so far) why people are giving this book 5 stars. It's quite boring and dry. Yeah, there is depth to the story, there is grief and sadness and discovering one's self after disaster strikes. But so far it can't get my full attention. I hope it gets better as it progresses, because I seriously want to enjoy it, since it's a Christian novel and all that...

This is a pretty nice dystopian book. I like Bea, though she seems a bit too naive at times
