The more I read this book, the more I am amazed by and respect the work of the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation. They are not just throwing money away aimlessly, they are taking the time to understand and study real issues and want to make a tangible difference. The problems they are trying to help are deep rooted and vast, but that doesn’t stop them from trying.

Melinda Gates is a phenomenal storyteller. She is open, honest and willing to be vulnerable.
She is also a great teacher. Not because she has all the answers but because she is willing to learn from others. Instead of using her platform to speak of herself and what she’s accomplished, she shares many lessons she has learned from other inspiring people who have made a difference and lifted others up.
