less about dolly in this section more about her friend. i wanna know about dolllys family and her work and the specifics there. i feel like we had the therapist section then nothing else was focused on dolly (btw i could never have that therapist she’d make me more upset)

not what i thought based off the title. there’s a lot of book left and i hope it starts to switch it up as when she talked about her time in nyc i got excited bc things were changing. though there now feels a simplicity, predictability in some of these stories but i hope i change my thought on this regard. i should probably just slow down my reading but i am liking it so lol idk

as great as they said i’ve never read a memoir but it doesn’t read at all like a memoir
