What can I say? Yes I'm in the middle of three other anthologies but I got have some short stories in audio! Thanks Scribd!

Aurora by Kim Stanley Robinson is coming out tomorrow and I have it pre-ordered on Audible. Very annoyed that I can't have it *now*. :D

This trilogy consists of three books, each anthologies with stories that are continued in each book. So I'm reading them all at once to read the stories completely, switching from book to book with each author. Make sense?

Just the story I needed. Somehow.

I'm dying to read Loving Day by Mat Johnson and even have the ARC (read a bit and dying to read the rest!) I can't focus for the life of me. I don't know if it's because I've read the last 3 books with Audible so I'm out of practice or because I'm so sick and on these meds. In any case, I'm putting that one off until I can get it when everyone else gets it on Audible. I can focus when I can also play a puzzle.

Ok I figured it out. It's definitely pronounced "seven-eves". (Like xmas eve.)

Nine hours of nonstop #Seveneves. These days my reading life is either full stop or full throttle. This story is amazing and I wish I could talk about everything but it isn't published yet. I want to see this as a very long-running tv series and several more books too. Although I may be over it by the time I finish this enormous slab of a novel.

So far reminds me a lot of The Martian by Andy Weir.

I feel that this is an excellent book that I want to finish ... in the future. It's too long and of too heavy a subject matter for me to handle right now. I'm definitely going back to it when the timing is right.

Yes I really am reading this many books at once. Apparently that's how I do now.

I'm barely started on this book but it already looks so promising. Really looking forward to reading into the wee hours tonight.

I finished two books and read one novella in the past 24 hrs and now I'm in that recurring frantic position of choosing a new book among so many exciting options ... and all the while I just find myself thinking more often every day that I want to read Harry Potter again. What magic is this J.K. Rowling? I'm a grown adult! Enough already!

So depressing and ick.

Turning out to be much more engrossing than I expected. I just get a wistful feeling when reading translations, wishing I could read it in it's original language.
