author Louis Sachar symbolizes this by creating many flaws along the way. Learning along the way, finding your flaws to fix them and move on, just like life pick yourself up and achieve it, carry on.

What was the symbolism of digging for treasure, in the book holes? Author Louis Sachar didn’t write a book about kids digging up an old cursed lake for no reason. He wrote the book to symbolize an important lesson; You have to work for the treasure.. or work for your achievements, they don’t just come to you in order to achieve your goal. Trust me, you will not succeed on your first time for everything,

Quickly this book has been going by very fast, and the way it describes the setting is a big reason why this book is so interesting. a young boy named Will is the reason this book even exists and without this characters significance and crazy decisions this book would be the daily life of a teenage boy. Running away from the safety of a bush to show himself to an army of 300 corpses to save a girl who tried to kill -

probably because of our similar age. I suggest that this takes a huge a huge role in your relation to the books that you read.

I had talked about this to the class and I will right it too, but usually I'm the type of person who wouldn't necessarily read this type of book. I had picked this book up off of the shelf because I had been late for class and I didn't want to frustrate Mr Johnson but this book has been coming along as one of the better books, that I have read. I think this is because I can relate so well to this teenage character--

In my reading, I noticed that I haven't been getting lost in the book rarely ever, and in past books I have got lost many times even maybe once every ten pages! Ty Drago, the author of my book is a very descriptive writer, I am still trying to find how and why his writing is so descriptive. I also think that the author isn't just being really descriptive. I know that it is also because of the way he made the book --

---an relate this text to what goes on in the real world life of me, for example; If all those eighth graders passed this math class, so can I. Ty Drago really has a good way of developing the theme. Although everybody in our class could read this book and maybe a couple of them would come up with the same exact theme or meaning.(couldn't finish the rest)

on pages 135-145 Will has been ahead of the game, everything that happens in the first stop(training). Will has been a natural... Will had kept secrets from his other training partner. the book has escalated from the soft, calming, passionate theme of don't be afraid to show the real you to never back down from a fight, and don't show fear. Will said in the text "If Sharron can beat him, so can I" And for me, I c---

in. So the purpose of this book I think is don't be scared to show yourself(the real you) because people should like you for who you are. This book

As the story get's more intense and violent, I wondered what Ty Drago was trying to teach me, or even if he is trying to teach me something. and it came to me, the books meaning. Some people may be dead inside or hurting and they really don't want to admit it, because people will judge them, or categorize them so they cover up there problem with a mental mask, that doesn't let anybody notice, because they want to fit

on page 13 will said "I prayed that I was going crazy" This little excerpt got me thinking, could will really be going crazy? Is what he's seeing really happening? Is the world actually being manifested by the living dead? and suddenly they all come after will. I like how the author put this sentence. I pray I am going crazy. The author does this by creating little building blocks that make every part more and mor--

I started reading this off the shelf of Mr Johnson's classroom. I kinda just picked it up lackadaisically not expecting much, but I was quite surprised to get a good written book

In these last twenty pages I found out what this book was meant for, or at least part of it, I'm only a third into the book and an extremely cool lesson has already popped. At this point i'm really excited to read more from this author but Jonas again making lots of decisions.
