What the hell am I reading? I'm almost done with the first book and this has got to be the slowest book ever. The heroine is not the least bit likable. She spends 90% of the time being a bitch to everyone around her and the other 10% being a complete hornbag lusting after every hot guy on campus. I am seriously questioning my own sanity in continuing to read this.

Great story so far. For the record though, Hoboken was known as the birthplace of Frank Sinatra and BASEBALL long before it was known for the Cake Boss. lol However, growing up, Carlos Bakery was in fact known for their cakes. It's where everyone got cakes and desserts from. lol

Thus far the stories I have read so have a lot of potential. The biggest issue seems to be the editing. Silly grammatical errors that should have been picked up in editing are aggravating. They take away from what could be some really good stories. Still... thank God for OCD, otherwise I would have given up on an anthology that has a lot of potential. We'll see

So far, I'm surprisingly disappointed in Kerrelyn Sparks story and enthralled with Pamela Palmer's. At this point the book is a toss up for me. We'll see when I read the next two stories.
