Reading is slow, but that's because I'm focusing on other books. The pace will increase once those are finished.

Kang and co. join the dark army, think they're gonna fight again after all those years, but get one of the lowest tasks. And it's not engineering, which they are specialized in. I'm almost beginning to feel pity for Kang and his poor troops, for being abused and treated like less than dirt. Even if they're on the bad side. And the way the dark lord is ruling: he's in charge, people have to obey or die.

things are improving, story-wise. Something's brewing. Both for the draconians and the dwarves.

Hm.. I thought reading would go smoother. It's so far an ok story. But it doesn't entice me that much, it's like I don't care anymore. Or is it the writing itself? Or my changing reading habits?

Wow, after all those more serious books I've read, DL does look a bit childish. :/ Anyway, while I expected a serious story, it's more infused with humour: draconians vs dwarves, not killing each other, just stealing from each other (booz, sheep, ...).

Warum muss ich das Buch jetzt zur Seite legen? Es ist sooo spannend und interessant und tief, dass ich einfach weiterlesen will! Aber ich muss erst Todesengel lesen für die Leserunde von Bastei-Lübbe.
