Finished the first short story, the age of discretion, and now I’m now allowed to read the other two because I am reading this for a book club and I don’t want to finish this book to quickly (I forget everything and I want to be able to actually talk about the book). Needless to say I’m loving it - so far.

Mixed feelings about this book - wanted to keep reading but also missed some depth and really hated the Dory references

Really liking this so far! It is my first book by Boyne but his writing style is very enjoyable so I'm pretty sure this won't be the last. It is an interesting concept to write in different times and places, but so far it's working.

This book is reminding me that I need to read more nonfiction and I also want to give this collection of essays form a chance because I have been loving it so far. Definitely promising especially if I manage to graduate next year because the thought of not studying scares me but this is a good way to learn!

So. I have kind of dropped this book. Not because it wasn't good, but I just wasn't in the mood anymore. I will definitely pick it up again in the future so I will just let it hang in my currently reading stack for now.

I have been dying to read this book because my brain is READY for another Murakami and some of the people I trust the most tell me that this is their favorite. Only 30 pages in so far so I can't say much, but I love the way he writes so I'm confident that this will be a lovely experience.

Am I enjoying this? I don’t know. For now I’m happy I understand the things Piketty says even though I do have to look up a word every now and then.

This is probably going to take me a long time, but I love the writing style and think (hope) this is going to be a fun read!

Loved the beginning, but the middle part is a bit slow and there are definitely scenes that should have been cut.
